Sweden

Oh Sweet, sweet Sverige. Stockholm was amazing, busy, hip, expensive, beautiful fall colors everywhere. I think we were there at the perfect time. All the hustle and bustle had all but died down. We also made a stop on our way from Oslo to the more western city of Gothenburg, which reminded me a bit of Austria because of the hills and rocky terrain and the contrast with the gorgeous pastels and wonderful 17th & 18th century architecture. The design shops were phenomenal! You may find my other entries from our trip here and here.

Stockholm begins below. What a gorgeous city and we were there on the most beautiful autumn days. The leaves absolutely highlighted all the detail in the architecture, the brick and stone colors, and the gleaming moody waters that surround all the islands that make up the city.
