Isn’t it lovely? We finally found our mid century credenza. I have been day-dreaming about this exact piece for years. And then one day I happened upon the internets for a local Portland vintage shop and there she was. It’s vintage teak, the doors open to reveal shelves, the top drawer is divided for silverware. And this baby is already packed. All the serveware, linens, cake stands, paper straws were removed from the built-in and neatly placed in the new credenza.
You also get a better look at the gallery wall, which was sneak peeked on thanksgiving. I love a good gallery wall, with a decent blend of illustrations, photography, paintings and prints. I think this one might need more line drawings or original paintings. The idea is that it grows and changes with us over time.
Isn’t that a beauty? Our lamp is pretty great, too. I like to think this little vignette looks a bit like a magazine spread…
